I was extremely nervous for my mom to go to skilled nursing for rehab. But when I did a walkthrough of Lakeside, I felt that this could be a good enough space for my mom’s temporary stay. I was wrong. It was a great space for my mom. I can’t speak highly enough about the people working there. From the nurses to the CNAs to the physical and occupational therapy teams and everyone else, they all treated my mom and my entire family with respect and dignity. 5/5 Stars – Beyond Grateful for the Incredible Care Words cannot express the amount of gratitude my family and I have for Lakeside Healthcare. My father was placed in their short-term care center after spending five long months in the hospital. The entire staff is incredibly warm and friendly. Shout out to the CNA, Samar! She’s is always so pleasant and helpful, even if she’s not assigned to the hall of my Uncle Joe’s room, she still offers assistance when she sees we are in need of help! Always going above and beyond! . Her heart is genuine and we can’t thank you enough! Thank God for such dedicated CNA’s, they do the bulk of the physical work and are paid the least. You all are valued and appreciated!

My loved one has been at lakeside for about three years now and I have seen the transition from the previous administrator to the current one. I remember when the landscaping was bright and welcoming, the staff was approachable and friendly, the building smelled nice and the energy was inviting. My father was transferred here to recover from losing the ability to properly feed himself, amongst other reasons,from a neurological condition. Upon arrival, it was made clear that my father was having trouble eating and could not digest much. Was on a soft food diet. Staff would drop off meals that did not abide by his diet, then there was no checking in to see if he ate or drank anything.
