I was in on Aug 4 (holiday Monday) with family, the vibe was weird. She followed us around the store so closely it was awkward. When we were leaving I suggested to my sister we try a shop around the corner that sells pottery. The owner (or retail associate, not sure) then told me she doesn’t sell pottery anymore……but she does…
Parked in front of their store intending to visit after putting in a takeout order next door at Willie's restaurant, was going to browse while my food was prepared. As I got out of my car, an old man came out of Lakeside Decor and approached me angrily about misusing his parking lot. I explained what I was doing and he accused me of lying so I didn't have to pay for beach parking. I didn't have a single beach related item on me nor was I in beach attire. Beautiful place! My fiancé, daughter (who was in a stroller), and I went for a nice walk in Port Dover yesterday, we stopped in at lakeside decor to look around, the owner was the sweetest and hilarious! There was no issue with our daughter in her stroller but I can see why it may be an issue if the store is packed with people, however it was just us and the owner at that time. We ended up staying and chatting with the owner for quite awhile, very lovely woman! We’ll definitely be back!
