The people here are awesome. I love teaching Chair Tai Chi with a Splash of Yoga here at Lakeside Center on Wednesdays . I come up from Mid-County to teach. This is a newer facility, geared toward the older population. Free to Beaumont residents, and $4 drop in fee for non-Beaumont residents. There's several people from Mid-County (Port Neches, Nederland, Groves) who come up to take the classes. In the photo, you can see how large the group fitness room is. Lots of room to spread out. This is a really good place to go to spend time with other seniors. They have so many programs, exercise, art, even bingo! Plus they serve lunch, but you have to let them know they in advance if you're going to eat.
