I recently had a sports massage with Claire from Lakeland Sports Massage. It was very easy to book online. I'd not got a specific injury, but Claire was thorough in checking for issues and imbalances. I've raced a bit more lately and so was a bit more sore and fatigued in my leg muscles. The massage was helpful in easing some of this soreness and I felt much better for it. Claire is very easy to get along with and to chat to. I'd recommend Lakeland Sports Massage for both runners and for general muscle issues.
Outstanding service! I went to Lakeland Sports Massage with a knee niggle which reared its head during Parkrun one morning. It was the kind of niggle which stops you in your tracks and prevents you from continuing. With the London Marathon in the diary, I knew not to ignore it so booked an appointment with Claire. I visited Claire for the first time last year, having never had a sport's massage. I went along as I had a few niggles and I had signed up to 2 ultra events in the Lakes, 2 weeks apart, and was keen to do anything to aid recovery in between. Claire was very knowledgeable about all things running off road -both physical and mental and just very reassuring.
