heard from two realtors they dont close timely and an electrician with an 800 credit score that they woouldn't give him a loan. I went in to close my acct. and they snaked my 5 bucks.called it a fee, smh

Lake Michigan Credit Union might just be the perfect bank for me! From the friendly customer service to the 3% checking account, I feel as if they are there to make sure my banking needs are met! Today solidified my love for this bank when they notified me that I was a recipient of a Random Act of Kindness award that totaled one months mortgage payment just as a thank you for banking with them! I can’t speak highly enough for this bank!

I refinanced my vehicle with lmcu due to the ridiculous payment issues I was having with Ally. When I sat down to explain why I wanted to get away from Ally I included disliking how they only would apply my extra payment amount to the following month and push my due date out instead of applying it to the principle. I was told that's not how Lmcu worked and clearly was lied to.
