WARNING!! I purchased a ready-made table in March 2022. At that time I ordered a custom bench and four chairs to match with the estimate of 20 weeks to be ready. Almost one year later, I still have no bench or chairs and have to follow up multiple times to get a response. I finally got the BBB involved, and still the company has not responded to their repeated attempts to get an update.
We ordered a custom table from them and they did make it to our specifications. It took them twice as long as they said they were going to take and then they told me that the table top was warped and did I want to wait another 5 weeks for them to make another top. Of course I said yes. We waiting and had the table shipped to Alabama. The table top was warped. There was nothing to do and they wouldn't take it back. Charlie with Lake and Mountain Homes was very helpful. The furniture is beautiful and everything I hoped for. The shipping company, “Ukay Delivery”, was spot on. The furniture was wrapped well, they unwrapped all, checked for any blemishes and placed furniture. I loved ordering furniture made to my specifications with such quality finish. We were remodeling a 1800's house and wanted a custom Island in the kitchen. We met with Tom Bingham and Jane of Lake and Mountain in Brookline, NH and discussed with them the "Modern Industrial" look that we were going for. We couldn't be happier with the finished product!! The top is customized Zink with the bottom of the seating side made from reclaimed barn boards. With their help, the cabinet side was custom made to fit our needs. It is absolutely beautiful!
