She charged my good friend $450 ahead of services and never delivered. My friend experienced the same non-communicative issues that other have listed. Shame on this company.
Angry and Disappointed. After having trouble with Abby Laine last year (her needing me to file an extension due to her taking on a “bigger” client) I decided to use her again. BIG MISTAKE. Like others I have not heard from her in over 6 months, even with many texts/emails/ calls. And am now paying someone else to file my taxes that are now late. Not happy
As several other reviews mention, I haven’t been able to get ahold of Abby for weeks now- zero response to phone calls, emails, text messages. After receiving a notice from the IRS a few weeks ago that I owe fees for an tax assessment, she has disappeared. I have yet to hear anything from anyone. Absolutely absurd.
I started working with Abby this January and all seemed well. She then became slow to respond and taking up to a week, then two then three to get ahold of. As of today I have yet to receive documents or confirmation that she has filed my taxes. Also, one of her “5 star” reviews is actually her assistant.
Abby Laine filed my taxes quickly and is always so friendly and cheerful. I did my own taxes for 2017 (incorrectly) and she helped me find out that I was actually owed a refund instead of owing a couple hundred that I had paid when I filled with TurboTax that year.
