Lafayette Federal Credit Union (LFCU) has been my credit union since the 1980s. It has consistently provided good service, whether in person at a branch or on their on-line app.
I have been an LFCU member for more than 45 years and got my first home mortgage with them. In the last few years the ability to get help from LFCU has declined significantly. For example, right now LFCU was hacked through their own incompetence and I cannot get answers to very logical questions from the "assistance" number they set up -- which is staffed by contractors who do not know anything about LFCU.
