I was a LNA. For many years until I found myself needing long term care. This place is terrible...granted some of the nursing staff were very good others not so much LNAs would be on their phones most of the time while call lights were ringing ...residents were unkempt , men un shaved and hair not combed.The administration was unapproachable from stink eye looks from the administrator to director of nursing having a sign on her office door saying do not disturb or knock. Best Care In Franconia.
I believe this place needs to be shut down for neglect of their patients and wrongful death of my grandmother in December 2018. They dropped her on her head then said she was tootaling down the hall and fell out of her wheelchair trying to get her stuffed animal. They minimized the extent of her injuries (head was pooling with blood and had racoon eyes) yet no other injuries to her body and didn't send her to the ER until 5 days after her fall. Awesome staff and a great place to work also my mother is a resident and I can say my team takes darn good care of her... Respectful, loving, understanding and compassionate. I value my mom's care here due to not being able to care for her myself at my own home. For which I wish I could have... I am forever grateful to my team. Thank you in so many ways Lafayette. I couldn't be more impressed with this place. My experience has positive in every way. But I really especially love the way my mom and my whole family is treated by staff and the management at the center. They are always kind and helpful and I know my mom is safe. I've always had peace of mind and that is so important to me. Thank you Lafayette!!
