It’s called Lacks for a reason as they are LACKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. We spent about 15,000 on new furniture. A couch, a chaise lounge, a marble dinner table and 10 chairs for it, plus two high back chairs and a love seat and a coffee table. The sofa showed up dirty with dirt spots all over the back of it and the chaise lounge as well. ********* **** *** ********* *** **** Manager for the Lacks Clearance center in pharr very unprofessional!! was called and told they had my parts ready since the end of Jan my couch was taken few days before Christmas it's now mid May saying they don't have the parts for my couch and that it's gonna take months to get the parts because they don't have them! Only give one star because I can't give a negative. Whacks is such a joke!! I ordered furniture 7/2021 and have yet to receive yet Ive been paying on it since. Ive spent the last 4 days on the phone for HOURS trying to make a payment. Every time I get to the #2 spot it bumps me to a spot in the 50's or higher. And don't even Bother leaving your number for a call back because that will never happen. I guess there's only one person working throughout the entire company because I can't even get ahold af any one at the local sto... read more

We purchased some couches on September 5th, today went by the store to follow up on delivery since we were told it would take 2-3 weeks to be contacted. When we arrived we were told our couches are no longer being made and we needed to pick new ones and start the wait again. We asked why where we not contacted and they said the person that sold them to us no longer works there. This review is for the Victoria Texas location. In April, one week prior to closing on our new home, we put a bedroom suit and 2 bar stools on layaway as we had no where to store the furniture. The bar stools were in stock but the bedroom suit was back ordered. When the bedroom suit came in the store called and we went to pick up the furniture. I thought Lacks was a top notch business but made a huge mistake, I went and bought a table, dresser and two night stands. the items were delivered and the dresser and one night stand were damaged. I was told to hold them and that new ones would be delivered, well i had two wait two weeks for the new ones and could not use the ones that had been delivered. when the two weeks came, the new dresser was also damaged. then I was told that I had to wait another two weeks to receive another one. In the past 20 years I have purchased my furniture with Lacks. Throughout the years furniture and service was good. Here recently it has gone down dramatically!! I requested some help with and issue and was treated rudely!!
