As a veteran i feel targeted..smallest home & small lot in this residential area & paying most money by approx 1000 dollars year after year doesn't make sense & it continues...not even close to fairness & that's all I ask for.
NY RESIDENTS BEWARE!!!... recently moved here from NY and bought a home. Everything looked great on paper and even got a real state lawyer to look into the history of the home. no red flags came up. Fast forward a year later, turns out the county never had the property assessed and apparently it was listed as LAND ONLY. This home was built in the 1800's. Now our taxes are triple the amount that we had originally signed for with the mortgage company. BEWARE! ask for tax history from the county!! someone is not doing their job... read more
