I’ve loved this place for years! The selction of millinery books on sale rival that of any other shop I’ve been to. Plus they carry some millinery (hatmaking) supplies like wool felt hoods (cone shaped) and millinery petersham ribbon. Check out what I blocked! Oh and they have a hat block lending library and classes in all kinds of crafts.
Great find in Berkeley. This is truly a gem for the discerning, seamstress, or someone who takes their sewing as a hobby more seriously because you will find such great treasures of the past in the lace assortment, textile and patterned materials they have to offer.
