A beautiful Shop and Museum in Berkeley. All you would ever need to find for the unique needs of a crafter. JULES gave a most excellent presentation on the History of Lace. I have been coming here for over 20 years and it's a comfort to know it is alive and well in 2025.
You don’t need tickets to enter. There are some amazing pieces but it is also somewhere you can purchase trim and lace. That said they are VERY expensive!! Like $65-$200/ yard expensive. Everyone that works there was friendly and helpful.
Amazing lace! And a hugely well stocked shop of all kinds of tools, materials, books… good corset materials, a thousand thimbles, hundreds of scissors, infinite patterns for all kinds of textile art
