The staff here are very kind, and caring. Everytime I come to visit my gma, I see staff laughing, playing music with residents and dancing, and always engaging with the residents. It’s a very homey, welcoming feeling when you come into the building. I never have a problem with staff locating items I ask about, because I understand with memory care things can come up missing. The staff, are so kind and the residents are well taken care of and happy and loved.
Ever since moving in, mom is doing great! Look at that smile! At a time when her immune system is so fragile, it is reassuring to know that their team is committed to excellence. I never hear a complaint from her about her care. Trust me, she would let everyone know if she were displeased! It seems like some of these reviews are from when previous management was there or disgruntled employees. I would choose this place again and again! Lacey Memory Care has made tremendous changes since I started here in October. I left for a short bit and came back in July. During my the time I was gone, they have improved lighting in the lodges, replaced sections of carpeting, got new furniture, and a change in management. I can attest to the fact that the moral and vibe when you go into the lodges is vastly different. I can’t not wait to see where they are in the next year under the new management on both a building level and a corporate level.
Since becoming an in-home caregiver, I have done some research into local communities. I have had to have the conversation with a couple of my clients that their loved one may need memory care. After seeing the care provided here, I would highly recommend them. They even take straight Medicaid.
