Would do zero stars if I could and we will be soon closing our account. We wanted to bank locally since moving here this summer, but deciding now that was a bad idea! We will be going back to using a KC area bank instead. Recently we were paying 2 credit cards in full to Barclays Bank and unknown to us the Labette Bank system was down that date so the payments didn't go thru and we got late payment fees from Barclays and finance charges from them too. Barclay was nice to cancel their late fees but wont credit the finance fee... read more

Man do I miss Mary but the young girl with I believe red hair (I think name is Janelle) is super sweet and helpful everytime I talk to her on the phone or in person. The older gray haired woman who works the front on the other hand is pretty rude. That along with the fact that I have to get permission to spend my own money ($500/day spending limit) is why I will be looking for a different bank. Very rude girl who had answered the phone. I had no clue what all I needed from my work and she replied with an attitude and then hung up before I could say "Okay, thank you. bye" So sick of people being rude when i wasn't informed on what all was needed.
