Avoid this place. – My husband and I recently moved to Smithville and needed some furniture so we went to shop at Kay's Furniture. Immediately we were approached by a saleswoman like a used cars salesman. Even though we informed her that we wanted to look around she continued to follow us from a distance. I bought most of my furniture here. – This place is not as big as IKEA, but it has a lot selection and the price is cheaper. This place own by friendly couple. I bought most of my furniture from them.

Bait and Switch and attempted theft!!! BEWARE all Veterans and residents of NM: if your delivered furniture has no warranty tags attached to your furniture at the time of delivery, it is USED furniture, and is a showroom model that should have been heavily discounted and sold as a clearance item. According to the terms in the back of their invoice, “Backroom” labeled furniture is used furniture and NOT covered under the La-z-Boy 1-year warranty! never again! – I paid $1800. for a leather recliner, and all of the color is coming off of the leather. The chair is rarely used and we have no children at home. They said there is nothing they can do about it. "Never Again!"
Don't Live Up to their Contracts – We purchased for $150.00 a leather dressing program for two leather recliners we purchased. When we went this past weekend, March 1, 2008, to get a refill on the product we were told that they no longer honor this program. When we asked what about the money we spent for this program we were told to bad.
