First and foremost I want to share that the staff at La Sportiva are thoughtful, knowledgeable, patient, friendly and nice people. The selection of gear particularly footware is outstanding. And it is easy to park at the store. I encourage all you outdoor people to support this great outdoor business.
Visited the store for the first time and had a great experience working with Evan. He was super helpful as we looked for the perfect shoe and sole insert. He is extremely knowledgeable about the products.
***UPDATE*** Based on my phone conversations with this store, I decided to make the 9 hour drive to try on boots for Denali. Charlie spent a ton of time with me, asking me all sorts of question to make sure I had the perfect fit. He was so thorough, I was glad I had made the trip. Very pleasant experience with the retail store employees. I arrived 15 minutes before the store closed, yet both associates that were there were very sympathetic to my ski racing boot dilemma. They took the time to get me fitted and out of the door, feeling very confident for an upcoming SkiMo race. So far, the Kilo ski boot hasn't withstood normal wear, but a bit of troubleshooting and glue has kept me on my training schedule.
