What a great store! A nice selection of local items, amazing bulk items, including anasazi beans, an array of posole and many other great items.
Been here 3 different time and not once have they gotten my order right. Super easy turkey, sprouts cucumbers bacon lettuce and lite mayo. Today i got extra mayo no bacon and the wrong bread. Won't be going back
Not as good as it used to be
I was excited about La Montanita but I had a strange and unhelpful interaction with an employee regarding a notice I recieved, supposidly from porperty management. The employee confirmed it was from property management but was unwilling to help me find appropriate contact information to clear up any misunderstanding, fine. But then blamed me for parking in the shopping plaza. Strange shade to throw at a customer.
La Montañita is a great grocery store for healthy, organic produce. They offer double up on locally grown produce for ebt participants! Accessibility! This alone is such a blessing because EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO NUTRITIONALLY DENSE ORGANIC FOOD! I typically stick to the produce an unprocessed food section. I like the bulk lentils, beans, grains and what not. They have a pure water bulk water filling station with amazing tasting water.
