I love being able to buy affordable organic items at La Montanita, and can find a quick nutritious & creative meal at their hot/cold deli. Staff is always helpful, knowledgeable and upbeat. And I'm supporting a trustworthy, life-affirming, inclusive, and successful LOCAL organization.
The "chefs" in the service deli apparently have NO IDEA that there are seasonings other than salt! I live alone and splurged on a big Christmas dinner for myself. EVERY SINGLE DISH was like brine. Y'all have taken your last dollar from me. I'll still shop here, but not another penny on the deli. HORRIBLE!
Favorite place to shop for high quality produce and meat. Great local selections and extensive wellness section. The cashiers are all super friendly. It’s the local watering hole for sure, always running into people we know.
Great BULK options! Friendly staff. Honestly compared to other co-ops across the country, La Montañita is more affordable than most! As a traveler, I love that their Co-op discounts are available to ALL customers, not just members. My only complaint is that the space feels very tight. It wasn’t very busy while I shopped but there was traffic in every aisle, which stresses me out. They’d benefit from a redesign/reorganization of the space for better flow. Not very wheelchair accessible.
