Care Plans get Ignored. Staff neglecting my father’s CarePlan is incredibly frustrating constantly having to remind and report. My father, sound minded, assisted living, would request to speak to a supervisor to report staff not doing their job properly. There is no supervisor that Oversees the CARE staff on the Floors. I toured several facilities when I was looking for a senior living home for my Mom and feel so blessed to have found La Marea. She has now lived there over a year and a half and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the the facility and the staff. The property itself is so welcoming, modern, clean and well kept. STAY AWY! LaMarea manipulated their rating star. Their rating is undocumented. My Rating Is Documented with truth. LaMarea managed to FAKE their rating again. Marketing Staff are truly NOT reliable people. They have NO Knowledge behind the Scene. They have NO interaction connection with the Residents there. UPDATE Oct 2025 I am so happy to report things have changed, and this is the absolute best place. The parent company took far too long to replace the former ED. Now, the new executive director has been around for a number of months, and he has consistently proven himself. He’s delightful, he’s involved in the community, he cares about the residence, and the entire place has stepped it up relative to quality. They now have food and snacks in the lobby.
