We were lucky to have La Mar Salada cater my 40th birthday this past weekend and it was the BEST experience! The smell of paella filled the entire venue and it was so cool watching them make fresh paella while also mingling with our friends and family. Everyone was so excited when the paella was ready to eat and some guests had never had it before so it was truly special. Kat and Victor are amazing! They make you feel like old friends in their kitchen as they take you through, step by step, the Paella making process! Really enjoyed the experience and their hospitality and the delicious charcuterie, sangria and paella!!
What a fantastic evening last night learning to cook, authentic Spanish paella, (a.k.a. rice and things) at La Mar Salada, Wilmington. Kudos to Kat and Victor for a memorable experience! They have amazing chemistry and make the perfect team. From the sangria and charcuterie to the finished paella product, our expectations were exceeded. This was a wonderful date night!! We will be back and will look for an opportunity to bring a bunch of adventurous friends from Raleigh for the experience!!
What an amazing experience! Kat & Victor have thought of everything you will need to make a delicious pan of paella. We went as a couple but felt so comfortable with everyone else who was there. It’s like being at the best dinner party!! Fabulosa!!!
