Please do not leave your loved ones here at this facility!! They do NOT follow PPE guidelines and are extremely careless! My grandmother recently tested positive for COVID therefore we were only allowed window visits. I have posted photos of the care she received, notice the nurse is NOT wearing gloves!! Now we know why she contracted the virus! Now she is in hospice care. Please, please check on your loved ones and remove them immediately!!

If my mom and I had not visited my dad on the 2nd day of his stay, my dad would be dead!!! These people are completely oblivious and negligent to what it means to assess a patient. The management only knows the words "I am sorry," when the mistakes of a REGISTERED NURSE are brought to their attention. My dad was not given his proper medication. This was explained and reiterated several times to the staff, but was ignored. My dad was comatose when we found him, only for the RN to state "he has been uncooperative all day with ... read more

Our son was a short-term patient at La Canada Care Center. He recieved medical care and rehab therapy after an extended stay in a local hospital. He recieved medical treatment, including every 6 hour blood sugar testing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and individual and group therapy. He has relearned to walk and climb stairs, and has benefited from every aspect of rehab therapy provided at La Canada Care Center. The staff was extremely pleasant and caring. It's been a blessing to be in their care. From top to bottom, I commend your kindness and professionalism..truly top notch. PT and OT, I thank you guys. My son was in this facility to get antibiotics through picc line after hospital stay. Staff does not know their patients needs or how to care for them. Missed appointments, a couple of staff very rude and uppity, told he was released anytime after 10am. Here its 2pm. Asked nurse to make sure a doctor saw him and barely saw one before he left.
