Why would they call it a “walk in” clinic when you need an appointment? First time using this resource. I drove all the way from Waupaca to Appleton because I have strep and need some relief. I had to push the door bell twice. I walk in and the nurse was really rude asking if I had an appointment. I said no, didn’t think I needed one. Rolls her eyes and tells me I have to call back in TWO HOURS to make an appointment? Be so for real. Why can’t we make an appointment while I’m here for later in the day? Houa, the nurse practitioner, is both rude and inexperienced. This is not just my personal experience—many of my coworkers have had similar negative interactions with her. I've seen her several times and each time, I felt she lacked proper knowledge. Unless you have strep throat, she often refers you elsewhere because she doesn't seem to know how to handle other issues.
