I called Helgesen, Houtz & Jones on a Monday. I was able to speak to Kurt quickly enough to explain my situation and he agreed to take on my case as my defense lawyer. Before court (the following day), I gave Kurt more detail on what happened. I don't have a lot of knowledge on the legal system, and he was always there to answer my questions, even the ones that I had asked multiple times.
