My daughter did the reading part of Kumon in first grade and it really helped. So, we gave our 30 day notice and took her out after a year and half. Later in middle school we needed to add her for the math section. Lynn, the owner would not allow us to come back because we had left. She told me she didn't take kids that age. This was a full lie. Kumon has been very helpful for my children, it helps them be more independent with their studying habit. Both children and parents have to put in some effort, but it is a very good self-teaching tool. Highly recommend.
Kumon is the best choice for after school program to help our kids learn the basics and improve their skills depending on their development . I tried both reading and math for my older son it’s perfect and he loved it I thought it will be too much pressure on second grade but he still doing great specially his level is higher than his school level which helps him to do his school homework so fast in the school then he does Kumon home .
My Lynn is great. I have never seen such a dedicated and awesome instructor.
Kumon Shreveport, without a doubt, provided me with a plethora of math knowledge and practice. I was able to excel in school because of Kumon, and I will always be grateful to Mrs. Lynn for all the work she does for her hundreds of students.
