I can honestly say that my kids have grown so much in math because of Fran and this Kumon San Mateo team. I have 2 kids who have gone up to higher level math and both can honestly say they wanted to continue because it was helping them so much. Fran is patient and so great with each student. My two girls went to this location for many years and I can't tell you how much it has helped them through elementary, middle school and now in high school. Fran and her team are the best. Fran is kind and patient. But what sets her apart from the others is she knows how to teach! She can take a complicated math equation and make it simple to learn and understand. We have had two of our boys graduate from Kumon under Fran's supervision. The program is similar to when I took it as a child -- learn basic to advance math through lessons and then daily practice of those foundational lessons. The repetition leads to confidence that the principles are understood and ultimately leads to confidence. Fran and staff run the program very well and my family has been happy with the results.
