This review of Julie Blankenburg, the Kumon center of New Lenox, IL and the Kumon program itself is a long time coming. My oldest child began Kumon in first grade for math enrichment because my husband and I had witnessed the grade school and high school success and incredible college opportunities that my five cousins had due to their experience with Kumon. The Kumon Mathematics program has been am excellent experience for my daughter. She started over 3 years ago as an above average student looking to continue to stay ahead of her class. Since then she has made great progress! The Kumon program strengthens a students core skills and builds his or her confidence. As a reault the student is no longer afraid of Mathematics.
