The Kumon at Los Alamitos has been an absolute best, I highly recommend them! It’s a wonderful place for kids to learn. Naomi and her staff are wonderful educators, they are personable, great mentors to kids, very hands on and very patient with them. Kumon gave our two kids great foundation in Math and Reading. My daughter started at age 3 and my son at age 2, they both excel on each subject above their grade level and I credit Kumon for getting them here. Kumon is a good system but parents still got to put a lot of work in. For the money I was surprised. But Kumon is a proven system.
We are very happy with our decision to enroll our 5 yr old at Kumon Los Alamitos. Ms. Naomi and her staff are very professional and supportive of our daughter and she is doing well.
My 5 year old, Maxx, has been attending Kumon of Los Alamitos for 3 years now. We enrolled him in Jan 2015 when he was just 2 years and 9 months old. Maxx was eager to begin the Kumon Program as, at that time, his older brother Aeon and older sister Trinity (11 and 14, respectively) had been attending Kumon for about 7 years. Both my girls go to Miss Naomi's Kumon Center and absolutely love it. My oldest, who is 9, has been going for about 5 years. My youngest, who is 5, just started about 6 months ago. Miss Naomi and her staff have helped both of them continue to excel in math. Miss Naomi is very involved in their learning and goal setting, allowing for my girls to move up the math ladder at a consistent and challenging pace. Because of this, they both have gained confidence, which transfers over to school.
