As a parent, I enrolled my child at Kumon Math and Reading Center of Houston – West University hoping to provide focused academic support. While the staff was polite, our overall experience did not meet our expectations. My child is old enough to clearly communicate her experience, and she consistently reported that the environment felt very noisy and crowded during class time. My daughter has grown a lot with the reading and math program. She has shown increased confidence in doing her work! The director is very kind and accommodating as well! Definitely recommend!

My daughter has been attending Kumon at West U for just three months, and the progress in her reading skills has been remarkable. Seeing her confidence grow with each worksheet is truly rewarding, and we’re excited to enroll her in the math program soon, given the great strides she’s made in reading. I would encourage reading the details of the planned curriculum and contract closely to be sure the expectations of how instruction will be delivered and how feedback from children are are understood as it does not work well for all students. Consider spending additional time becoming familiar with the center and process before committing. Glad to see other positive experiences posted, posting to help others who might benefit from additional preparation for success.
