My daughter started right after her 3rd birthday. She didn't know all of her letters yet, and wasn't very confident while learning new things. I wasn't sure what to expect from the program, but I have been very pleased with her progress. She will reach her 1 year mark as a Kumon student in a few weeks, and she is reading and writing! Mr. Song and his support team have been an excellent resource for my son. We began our journey with Kumon 2 1/2 years ago and the growth in my son’s math skills are incredible. I cannot say enough good things about Kumon! Before starting Kumon, my daughter would come home from school crying and so defeated. She was behind in her math and reading and her confidence was shot. We have been going to Kumon for just under a year now and my daughter is absolutely thriving in school. We have had such a great experience at Kumon with our oldest daughter who's in second grade, that we decided to enroll her little sister who will be joining kindergarten in the fall, to give her a good start as well. Our oldest has been enrolled since kindergarten, when we noticed her struggles with reading and writing. She's greatly improved and is almost surpassing grade level now. Our experience at this Kumon location has been nothing but positive. Sam song, who manages the center, and instructs the students, truly has a gift for teaching! He is able to connect with the students and inspire them to reach their potential. He takes a personal interest in all of his students, and encourages their confidence. I highly recommend this Kumon center for any parent looking for academic support for their child.
