We’ve been going to Kumon for two years now, and our experience has been exceptional. The instructors are truly incredible. They’re patient, kind, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping each child succeed. They have a wonderful way of meeting kids where they are, challenging them appropriately, and, most importantly, instilling confidence in their abilities. The Boulder Kumon center has been our family's saving grace in getting my daughter to work on her math skills. The staff are encouraging, kind, and compassionate, particularly given my daughter's brand of neurodivergence. Her math skills have improved so much over the past year and I give most of the credit to the program that John runs in his center. The best Kumon center my daughter has attended (including overseas). They pair each student with one instructor. Owner gives a lot of attention and is always on top of any details.

If you’re considering some extra support for your kid, I’d highly recommend Kumon! My 4th grader has been attending Kumon for math tutoring 1x/week for a few months now. In that short period I’ve seen her skills and confidence grow. They give students take home practice that I’ve found helps to reinforce concepts. My kid enjoys the instructors and has never asked to not go. The owner John is very proactive to ensure scheduling works and has created a fun environment.
