My wife and I went to Ktena in Oakleigh on Saturday with thoughts of purchasing a couple of their woollen thermal products. We met Denise on arrival who gave us fantastic service and went out of her way to make sure all the products fitted our needs perfectly. I bought three pairs of their merino skins and I’m absolutely blown away by the quality and the affordable price. This is a premium product that easily outperforms the big-name brands like Macpac and Kathmandu, who usually sell poly-blend materials at outrageous prices. Ktena’s thermals are the real deal, and genuinely unmatched. Highly recommend.
I purchased several pairs of long johns, but after just 4-5 washes, these wool ones have worn noticeably faster than the cotton ones.
