Self checkout system is the worst in retail. I don’t need to steal food but I don’t care about Kroger’s margins. If your system can’t checkout a dozen items without setting off a false alarm, then I would rather go to Wal-mart
At 11:25-11:30 I spoke to a manager named Michael with red hair, red beard and tall stature today on 2/18/26 at the Kroger store on S. College Mall Rd. Employees at this store in the bristo department were making disparaging remarks about me and then started making sexual innuendoes with sexual degrading statement about my genital. This Kroger is honestly amazing—and yes, maybe I’m a little biased because it’s full of memories for me, but it really is a great store. The service is consistently good, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. One thing I love is checking the weekly ads—there are always some great surprise deals if you pay attention!
