The staff was going out of their way to make sure I could find what I needed, the employees were so friendly! The store is very clean and well organized.
The inside of the store isn’t bad, but the employees smoking literally at the front door blowing smoke in my four year olds face is kinda gross and also illegal. City law prohibits smoking this close to entrances and exits of public buildings and stores. Then to make things worse, there conversation topics and attitude towards people is absolutely disgusting. Like my child needed to learn those cuss words today. All I needed was to get some milk. I’ll never shop here again.
I don’t understand why there’s two salesman blocking the main aisle at 10pm asking me what WiFi provider I use then awkwardly making comments about what’s in my shopping cart when I refuse to stop and talk to them or to shake their hand. None of this makes any sense especially for a smaller grocery store in Arlington on a quiet Wednesday night. For this, you get only 1 out of 5 stars Kroger until you can learn to treat your customers with a little respect.
The morning manager Cher was rude. I came in to “break” a couple hundred dollar bills and I was speaking to a really nice elderly lady who offered to help but Cher came out and said without so much as a welcome to Kroger, “we can’t help you. We don’t have any money in our registers”. The elderly lady was super friendly and offered to help me at her register. I’m not sure I’ll do my shopping very much at this location any longer.
