rented e mtn bikes while visiting a friend. i am a very experienced mtn biker and he’s intermediate. we went to makawao and my buddy’s chain snapped during our 2nd climb (no shifting under load) and AA charged us for the chain replacement which i thought was kind of crazy. chains are a part that wear out over time and to charge the customer for it seems like its comes down to who the poor customer is it snapped on. AA at Krank Cycle was totally most helpful. I had a loosely put together plan to hit Skyline and AA got me and the homie squared away.. The rental bikes were in great condition for the send. Definitely be back.
