This is a popular stop in the Summer for people headed to the Coastal beaches. Depending on the time of day you visit, the bathrooms can be pretty unpleasant. We generally hit this stop mid morning so tolerable for a convenient bathroom stop. Yes, signs everywhere stating you must buy sonething to use the bathrooms but considering the line for the bathrooms, we get it and usually get snacks anyway.
This is the nastiest place I have stopped at. You walk in and are hit in the face by flies. Fly strips in every corner. Smells very bad. The bathrooms are even worse. They appear to have never been cleaned. Toilets clogged. Poop everywhere. Probably abby flies are so bad. To top it off. You have to buy something in order to use those filthy bathrooms. Avoid at all cost.
