We signed a couple of our kids up for Koolminds’ reading group because their reading was far below their age level, and they hated reading. The new director is condescending, disingenuous and unhelpful. She looks clearly irritated when making a request to her. When you ask her a question, she stares at you with a huge joker smile and doesn’t answer your question or assure you of your concern. She’s a director of a school, but warns parents she’s horrible with names because she can’t remember! The teacher was so standoffish and lifeless. This passive aggressiveness is their style. Kool Minds has been such a blessing to my son. He is currently enrolled there and I'm very happy with the progress he's making. He is neurodivergent and this is a school that meets him where he is. He loves his teacher, and all of the staff working with him. He has made improvements in reading, math, and social interactions. He never complains about going to school and loves telling me about what he does every day. Highly recommend KoolMinds! We started a tutoring program for one of my kids to improve his reading skills and he has absolutely loved it! We have loved working with both the tutor, John, and the assistant director, Jonia. It’s only been a few weeks and I’ve noticed my child is more confident reading. He is also so happy and motivated after each of his lessons!
