The blade on my 40' Komelon tape measure tore only after several months of light use. I contacted Komelon about purchasing a replacement blade through the email listed on their website. They took a few days to respond to my inquiry and informed me that they do not sell replacement blades. However, they indicated that they provide a 1-year Manufacturer defect warranty and asked for a picture of the blade along with the purchase location and date of the tape measure.
