I have recently completed the Internship Program at Kokolulu Farm. Lew and Karin were excellent hosts and compassionate and experienced teachers. Lew is particularly handy, and is quick to turn a troubleshooting session of a machine to a life lesson. Karin is beyond knowledgeable as a former RN and shares plenty of fascinating information about the plants that are grown at the farm. Andrew and I were fortunate to spend 10 days at Kokolulu Farm & Cancer Retreats in mid-May 2023. After two years of chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and more chemotherapy for stage 4 leiomyosarcoma, Andrew decided in late March to have no more chemo. Wanting to start our healing journey as soon as possible, Lew kindly invited us to start learning qigong with him via Zoom before we arrived in May. I had a wonderful experience as an intern at Kokolulu. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and the owners (Karin and Lew) have developed a truly unique approach to healing. I feel lucky to have experienced such a special place.
