Awful accounting services. She helped us form our LLC 6 years ago , she made herself an agent on our LLC and received notices from the Secretary of State for the yearly bills but never sent them to us…. However she did tell the Secretary of State that she’s no longer an agent for our LLC company …. You would think she would notify us to let us know our bill was due ? Nope. She didn’t ! Our LLC business had her office address and they didn’t have my business address on file … needless to say we have to reinstate our LLC.
DO NOT USE THIS ACCOUNTANT!! I have never had a more horrible experience with any other business or person EVER. Note that in this review, I'm really only referring to one of the issues we encountered...the main one that hurt us badly, financially. There were several more but I'd be writing a novel if I listed all of them. In a nutshell, we(business partner and myself) paid THOUSANDS of dollars to Margaret to handle our taxes and deal with IRS notices and it turns out she failed to do 90% of that. Margaret is an absolute life saver!!! I'm a small business owner and consider myself a creative so this "business end" of business has always been a struggle for me. Margaret not only takes the guess work out of things, she empowers me with knowledge, never makes me feel like an idiot and actually makes learning the business end of things fun! I am beyond disappointed in the services, or lack there of, that Margaret is now providing. I used her for years and thought she was great. Unfortunately, as of 2023 she has changed how she operates. While I appreciate that she is trying to streamline her business, it has created an extreme lack in communication. The customer service with this tax consultant was an absolute nightmare. They were looking to nickle and dime me for any little thing. If you need to ask questions about your returns, they will charge you extra. They messed up my return the first go-round and then charged me to fix their own mistake. A few months later, I went to redownload my return, boom, another charge. Unbelievably disappointing service. Couldn’t recommend them less.
