lower your prices i visited the restaurant with a friend. service was good, food took a little long to arrive and sushi as well. also, for the atmosphere and location, the menu items are on the pricey side. the restaurant would benefit from lowering prices and improving service.
If you happen to be at San Bruno or near SFO, Kobe is my recommended spot. I have seen a lot of restaurants coming and going over the years in the San Bruno neighborhood, with many Asian restaurants changing hands or simply disappeared. Kobe Sake has been at the current location for over 8 years and still proudly standing 7 nights a week with 5 business days lunches, they must be doing something right.
kobe sake the service staff is really friendly and they play music in the room next door. the food tastes alright, but in my opinion, it is wayyyy too expensive.
Over Priced Low Quality Drunk Service I have been to Kobe Sake 3 times and will never go again. The food is expensive and the service was very slow the first 2 times. The third time we waited over 40 minutes for our food and recieved the WRONG food. This was likely because the owner/manager was drunk. I politely asked if our food was almost ready and the owner slurred "yes" and walked away saying rude things under his breath. Get better quality food with a great taste somewhere else.
