29/01/2026 - I support the self check out system but for bulk shopping kindly consider an assisted checkout. I had two trolleys full of items for furnishing a house and the lady told me no one could assist me at the assisted checkout even though there was a lady standing at the assisted check, she said she was closed. Spent a long time at the self check out as some items didn’t have codes…. Would have been easier at an assisted checkout.
Incident date: 18/01/2026; Time 5.00 PM. Item returned and requested for the refund or the voucher from a potentially racist female staff members. Kmart at Westfield Plenty Valley South Morang doesn't even deserve 1 star. But unfortunately there is nothing less than that. I bought a Mattress Protector just a day before and due to some reason had to return it. The packing was not even opened once. Waited 10 mins on hold, for an automated msg to tell me no one is available to take my call.
They never pick up phone, all 18/19s year old staff working with 0 customer service and also less staff on the floor and most of the staff chatting each other on the checkout/Pay counter.
