Ever since installing the security gates, the staff now just gather and chat there, ignoring customers. This has happened more than twice now. What's the purpose of the gates other than irritating customers.
1/6/25 - BF called at 11:14AM and was on hold roughly for 5-10 mins. Call was answered but just left alone without anyone actually speaking to him. He stayed on the phone until someone acknowledged the call but no one ever did. Call was dropped by the store. He just wanted to speak to someone for a maximum of 5 mins to make sure a product is on stock prior to going over. Online says there is stock but he wanted to confirm with the store directly. No service provided
Had to get a pirate costume for my son. Looked up on kmart website and it was available in Macquarie store. Went there around 5:30pm and asked a young male staff (Euro accent) where the costume section is now, because it used to be near the Legos. He was absolutely the rudest person I've ever spoken to, "what costume?" "You are the 3rd person that asked for it." "Did you have a look at the website, it's not that hard".
