We had been trying to find a product, and after having no luck at our local Kmart the staff checked the stock level at Indooroopilly and confirmed they had several of the item, so we drove over half an hour to come to this Kmart instead. When we go inside there is none of the product on the shop floor, so knowing full well they have it we go over to the service desk and request if someone could look in the store room for it. Had a very unusual and poor experience in Kmart Indooroopilly yesterday. We drove all the way from Ipswich to purchase 6x items which said they were in stock on the Kmart website. We get to the store and find none on the shelves, but when we asked at one of the counters the girls were very helpful and arranged for the items to be collected from their back storeroom/warehouse for us. They let us pay for the 6 items and then told us we could wait out the front for them to be retrieved for us (our mistake paying up front…). Ano... read more
I’ve never had a more horrible retail experience than at this store. I asked a staff called Janet if by any chance she knew if they had a product in stock. I’m not sure if she just had a bad day or something but she was extremely rude and almost shouted at me to go away. Extremely unhelpful and frankly, quite concerning.
Awful service, if you happen to find anyone. Rude, short. Signage was poor. Entirely unpleasant experience from the moment I walked in. Not to mention the ridiculous concept of checkouts in the middle of a store!
