Decently sized inner city Kmart situated at Level 1 of the Footscray Plaza. Clothing range is good at the expected Kmart prices. Decent range of books however in many sections of the book aisles, there are many old price tags still hanging out. For example, a random book on clearance for $5 is now longer in stock but staff couldn't be bothered to change the tags. Many books are also pricer than Amazon too however I did find a book for $8 to which I will try sell on Amazon for $32. Took too long to find one book. Couldn't be ... read more
Visited Footscray Kmart on 4/8/25 between 2.30 and 3pm and the female staff member looking after the fitting room was so rude and unhelpful. She made me feel like an inconvenience when I asked for access to the family room and asked why I needed to use it (I was shopping with my 7 month old and had a pram that wouldn't fit in the regular changerooms). She was chatting to a friend with a young child and seemed really happy and interested in their conversation and annoyed I had interrupted their catch up. It's a shame because ... read more
Big thanks to the staff member in the Toy Dept who checked stock ,found item I was after and left in customer service a for me to pick up.
Staff are super helpful at this store. Security are welcoming and greet customers which is a nice respectful touch.
It is an old looking centre and lots of security that makes you wonder about the crowd you are shopping with.
