I was told by another Kmart, that Chadstone had 10 pairs of pants left ,in stock that I was wanting to buy. So I went there, had a look and couldn't find them . So I went to customer service, only for the customer service lady, look at the website on my phone, ( without permission) and say there none left. I explained further , how the other Kmart said she had 10 pair left and how online shopping is different to in store shopping! She repeated what she said . I was with my friend at Kmart. something happened to my friend made me really upset. My friend told me he asked for a price match on a few toys — something completely reasonable that many people do. What happened next was honestly shocking. The staff didn't know how to respond, so he called the manager, Emmanuel. It seems that Kmart allows discrimination and favoritism! I had an extremely disappointing experience at Kmart today. I requested a price match on some toys — a common and reasonable request. The staff were unsure and referred me to the store manager, Emmanuel, who refused without providing a valid explanation, but reducing money loss due to price match, for Kmart.
