The rental business (Kay Lee LLC) was who I recently rented with for the school year. We were both surprised and disappointed by the condition of the house on the day we were to move in. We spent a lot of time and effort cleaning it up. We didn't like the way the landlord responded to our concerns and how they withheld part of our security deposit which we think was unfair and unjustified. This was a major added stressor for an already busy college student.
I urge anyone reading this to read it all. It's long, but a wild ride. TL;DR: Properties are old and falling apart and animals live in the walls and ceilings, sometimes making their way into the living space. Landlord company doesn't care and doesn't do even the bare minimum. I'm not one to leave one star reviews...but frankly I have no other choice. Rented from them for 2 years. There were animals that were found inside the house including an opposum and some bats, which both could contain rabies. They ignored and didn’t do anything about it. Never addressed concerns with the living space. Horrible experience. Stay away!
Renting with this company was a horrible experience that included ceilings that were about to cave in, bats flying around our house, and opossums crawling inside the house through unpatched holes. For the amount of money you are paying, you can find a better landlord.
Wouldn’t discuss a problem properly. We are discussing the problem and then he hangs up the phone because "he doesn’t want to argue”. Disrespectful to students and tenants.
