My package with a CPAP set in the airport for two weeks awaiting a flight to Bulgaria and they rejected it as having too many wires even though the only wire was an outlet plug. Now i'm out $250 dollars because they didn't want to handle the logistics of shipping it.
As multiple cities upgrade their Airport infrastructure, JFK is one airport that is long overdue for that.

Back to being busy. Amenities and shops and so forth are nicer because they are new and shiny . TSA is understaffed or purposely doesnt open enough lines to ease the lines. On top of that, TSA personnel apply rules on what you can take and who can take randomly - zero consistency. I wrote above text in Jan 2023 when I took a trip to Europe.
