The bike seemed ok but when I arrived at Burning Man the chain wouldn't stay in place because it wasn't adjusted correctly. I spent 5 days walking around Playa, because when I got on the bike and rode for less than 1 minute the chain would come loose, making the bike almost fall to the ground, a danger, because it could have caused a serious accident with me.
Very disappointed! We paid $180 for two bikes intended for Burning Man, and both of them broke down on the very first day. At that price, we would have been better off buying them at Walmart. Too bad — the concept is great.
I'm not really sure where to start but first off - this place is super amazing. The people running it have been doing so for over 20 years. They are extremely personable, kind and human. Upon entering we felt a great energy from the staff - they were welcoming and helped us immediately. All of the people we interacted with were helpful, proactive and thoughtful. They went out of their way to accommodate for us. I'd absolutely recommend picking up a used bike from here if you are in the market for one.
Great cause and even better people! You should absolutely come here for your BM bike needs!
