Recently purchased a spectacular digital coffee grinder at Kitchen therapy. Multiple staff assited me. Over 20 years ago I read a product review on NY Times for individual cedar sheets for cooking fish. Kitchen therapy ordered them in for me. Never buy online!

Kitchen Therapy is my go to kitchen store. The staff are genuinely helpful without being pushy — they even helped me choose the perfect Emilie Henry pieces just by looking at photos of my kitchen, which made the whole experience feel very personal. Customer service is TOP NOTCH. I bought a coffee maker with some functioning problems. They went out of their way (including driving across the Lower Mainland) to pick up my faulty machine and credit my card back. They communicated with me the whole time , and were fabulous about it. A rare action these days in retail. I couldn’t recommend them enough .

If a brick-and-mortar store wants to stay competitive in today’s economy, honoring price matching and offering discounts for damaged packaging should be standard practice. When the same item is available 20% cheaper elsewhere — plus an additional 10% first-time purchase discount — and the in-store package is damaged, meeting that price isn’t a favor, it’s a reasonable expectation.
