I was charged with assault and battery on a1st responder (St Lucie Sheriff). The arrest was a misdemeanor, raised to a F1 5 month felony while I was in jail overnight. The charge was raised again to an F3 5 year charge after 60 days. I had never been arrested in my 75 years. The whole system is a mystery. Jay arranged my release the next day on bond.
