I was initially under the impression that the person contacting me regarding the debt was the attorney handling the matter. When I eventually spoke with the actual attorney, I could hear what sounded like frustration in her tone, despite the fact that I had already paid a significant portion of the balance owed. I was scammed and had evidence of the scamming that occured and when I was contacted to discuss me being scammed the supervisor said "No I don't want to hear it" "she didn't get scammed she knew what she was doing" I still to this day have the evidence that I was scammed and I am being punished for something I honestly was unaware of. It's a long story and I was willing to go over everything but she was rude and mean.
Chess Griffin and his staff were great. Very thorough, respectful, patient, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.
They refuse to reply in email. Only want to talk over the phone so that you don't have anything in writing. Have sent me 2 other people's debt papers through the mail. They are collecting for coastal credit union but don't have the correct amounts. Ifinally went to get a lawyer after they tried to give me a fta when i don't have the court date that i was supposed to go to court. My lawyer is wanting the rest of the paper work and they are refusing to send it to him. Have also sent him other people's debt info instead of mine... read more
